Stop-the-Backyard-Breeder program offers a partial reimbursement for gelding stud colts and/or stallions. Please contact RCER for an application. Restrictions may apply.

Trails End Program

Trails End Program may be able to provide assistance for the expense of humanely euthanizing horses that are very old, sick, crippled, poor quality of life &/or Veterinarian  recommended euthanasia.  Contact RCER to request assistance.

Cat Marrier Training Scholarship

RCER may have a horse available for adoption that additional training would facilitate their adoption. The person applying for adoption may also apply for consideration of a training scholarship. If awarded, the scholarship will be paid directly to the trainer of choice upon completion of adoption.

Cat Marrier was an avid horse person who was tragically lost in a horse accident in 2019.  Cat worked with RCER as a foster, in promoting horse rescue, and was a big advocate for training. She is sorely missed.
