Gus

Gus is an approx 18 year old gelding. His former owner was deployed to Afghanistan and his foster person can no provide a home for him. Gus has been a trail & pack horse, does best as a follower. He seemed to be gentle, though a little nervous at this time, that may be because he has not been handled much this winter. We know he has been ridden in a corral by kids, but do not know if they ever rode him out in the open. He is suitable for trail riding. We floated his teeth on 6-13-13, he will have his feet trimmed this week. Gus is about 14.3 hands and a nice buckskin color.

 7-11-13 Gus has been adopted and will go to live with another RCER rescue horse, an Appy named Spirit (formerly Strawberry)
