Bold Broad ( Beebes)
Her story...
Rodeo City Equine Rescue has adopted all 14 seized horses from the Sheriff's Office. The July 22nd court ruling forfeited the horses to the Sheriff's ...Office & this allows the Sheriff's Office the ability to adopt the horses out. RCER has accepted the horses and will in-turn make them available for adoption through a vetting process. The Rodeo City Equine Rescue has been coordinating the care of the horses since the initial seizure on May 10th.
This is Beebes, she has had a rough go of it. Initially, we were worried that she may have to be euthanized as she only scored a 1 to 1.5 on the Henneke scale, was very swollen on her hind legs and walking was painful. Her amazing ability to survive was inspirational. She has gained 250 Lbs , is close to a body score of 4, and is now trotting around her corral, determined to never miss another meal. She would love a home as a companion horse, requires a mush diet. Beebes is up to date on her vaccinations, worming, teeth floating and hoof care.
Beebes wonderful foster mom has decided to adopt her. Congratulations to both of you!!!
