Big Red (Ama Storm)

Courtesy Listing:   Red (Big Red) is a one of kind guy. He’s got a curious and friendly personality, and, once warmed up in trust, has let children paint and pet him. He has helped alternative high school students last year by hanging out with them. Red is really smart, learns quickly, can startle, but with practice, won’t (doesn’t flinch when ropes run around his legs and head). He’s never hurt anyone and does an excellent job with his barefoot farrier. Red’s easy to catch and halter once he knows you.

Red’s registered name is Ama Storm, fouled in 1999 out of Amazonia (BRZ) and by Storm Blast, son of Storm Cat,  granddad of Secretariat. Red raced a bit when he was younger and had 7 starts. Red has not been ridden for a couple of years, mostly ridden English in the past.
