Jimmy

Jimmy a 20 year old Clydesdale, standing 17.3 hands. At intake he scored 1.5 Henneke scale, weighing only 1314 lbs. He came to us with mites in the feathers of his legs, loaded with worms, maggots in the crack in his hoof, and needing his teeth floated.

Jimmy pictures at over 1800 lbs & a body score of 5.5. The term “Gentle Giant” that people talk of when referring to Draft horses was the epitome of Jimmy. He was adopted and lived for two more years in a home where he was loved & cared for. Always coming to the gate for a pet whenever he saw you, he gave as much as he received.
